DPD is the UK’s fastest-growing parcel carrier with a fleet of 10,000 delivery vans and annual turnover of £2 billion.

It has doubled in size since 2016 by establishing itself as the carrier of choice for retailers in the B2C delivery sector, delivering 410 million parcels a year across the UK for high-profile customers such as EE, HelloFresh, M&S, and ASOS.

Team DPD now employs 20,000 people.

2022 was another successful year despite a slowdown in the UK economy, rising inflation, and the ongoing negative impact of Brexit.

DPD has made sustainability integral to its overall business strategy, winning, and retaining business as a result.

It has developed a net-zero roadmap to deliver all-electric in 30 cities throughout the UK by the end of this year and become the first global parcel delivery company to declare it will be net-zero by 2040.

This entry shows how it is innovating at pace to decarbonise its operation by partnering with robotics and last mile delivery specialist Cartken to deploy autonomous all-electric delivery robots in Milton Keynes and Northants, prior to a much wider rollout in 2024.
