Sky, Kuehne Nagel and CEVA Tripartite Collaboration
Sky recognizes the indispensable role of robust partnerships in enhancing operational efficiencies and achieving strategic business goals.
Thanks to our strategic partnership with Kuehne+Nagel as freight manager and CEVA and Kuehne+Nagel as sea transport partners, we have saved approximately £500,000 in direct and indirect costs associated with our supply chain.
Both myKN and myCEVA online portals provide live tracking, document storage, and CO2e reporting for all transport movements.
By storing shipment documents online, we minimise printing and email forwarding.
The emissions reporting allow us to manage our carbon footprint. Our providers work together, ensuring on-time deliveries and productivity gains.
Kuehne+Nagel and CEVA each bring unique strengths, excellent service quality, minimising disruptions, and ensuring continuity of shipments.
With Kuehne+Nagel and CEVA, Sky ships 100% of its containers using marine Biofuel, significantly reducing our Scope 3 Greenhouse Gas emissions.
CEVA operates up to 50% of its ground fleet on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO).
These initiatives have saved Sky over 200 tonnes of CO2e in 2023. Sky are continuing to invest with our partners to optimise our supply chain efficiency through further data analytics and sustainable transportation technologies.
This collaboration supports Sky’s commitment to sustainability, while adopting the best practices in supply chain.
