Wienerberger UK and Construct IT are thrilled to jointly submit this entry for the The Manufacturing Supply Chain Excellence Award, celebrating our visionary partnership.

Together, we have secured a four-year contract extension, with increased volumes from Wienerberger’s depots nationwide, that highlights our shared commitment to sustainability and future-forward logistics.

As part of this commitment, both companies, along with vehicle partners, are working towards the introduction of alternatively fuelled vehicles, including Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) powered vehicles, an all-electric curtainsider vehicle, and one of the UK’s first all-electric drawbar crane vehicles, hoping to pioneer eco-friendly solutions in construction logistics. Our exceptional On-Time In-Full (OTIF) score exceeding 95% across millions of bricks delivered underscores our reliability and efficiency.

Our strong relationship, built on regular site visits, collaborative training sessions, and innovative projects like load optimisation and robust load security, has been integral to our success.

These initiatives not only enhance efficiency but also align with our mutual goals of safety and best practice implementation. Strategically located depots across the UK ensure rapid response capabilities and full national coverage.
